Support our CIC and enjoy good food and great company

In order to make as much profit as possible for our two nominated charities, YMCA Burton and SARAC, we want to cover the essential costs of printing and publishing Friendship, Love & Truth - The Vale Rawlings Story.


So, we're organising a Curry Night at the Gurkha Curry Lounge, Station Street, Burton Upon Trent, at 7.30pm on Wednesday September 3. Only 40 tickets are available, so contact us asap if you want to join us. Tickets are £25 and there will also be a raffle and we'll have exclusive use of the upstairs room at the popular restaurant.


Below is the menu we'll all be sharing at the curry night, just to whet your appetite. Please contact us - not the restaurant - to book and pay for your ticket.

Menu says: poppadoms and dips on arrival. Starters: chicken tikka, seekh kebab, veg samosa, onion bhaji. main courses: Himalayan garlic lamb, Gurkhali chicken, karahi paneer, sag aloo, mixed bread, pilau rice. Dessert: vanilla ice cream.
